The Alliance database is meant to serve as a reference for parent centers, professionals, and parents who have or work with children with disabilities. The database contains information on resources from parent centers and elsewhere on a wide variety of topics such as disabilities, education, organizational management, fundraising, and multicultural material.

The database also offers parent centers the opportunity to promote its own material from one central location. Only parent centers are invited to add material to the database, making it as thorough as possible.

• The Alliance will first be concentrating on adding TA material that is highly recommended. This is material that is not produced by a parent center
  
• Afterwards, the Alliance will add materials created by parent centers.

• It is important to keep in mind how readily obtainable a submission to the database is for those searching the database.
  
• Rate your submission (5 is the highest ranking). While the Alliance would like the majority of the materials in its database to be excellent resources for parents and parent centers, those searching the database need to know which resources they should seek out as well as those they should avoid.
  
• All submissions are reviewed by the Alliance. Please check to see if your additions have been approved by searching the database for them within two weeks of your submission. By entering material, you contribute to the expansion of this research for parents and parent centers. Please take the time and encourage others to contribute to this valuable tool.
