Parent Center Updates

Parent Center Standards Pilots Begin

Over the summer, more than 10 Parent Centers will be completing the Parent Center Family-Centered Services and Nonprofit Management Standards forms as part of the pilot project. We thank them for their willingness to participate in this new project! Watch for more opportunities to be involved as the program moves forward over the next several months!

Oregon PTI has a new Home

After 20 years, Oregon PTI has a permanent home. Through the generous support of the George and Virginia Schneider Foundation, they are purchasing their office space at 2288 Liberty Street NE. The dedication ceremony was held on December 4th, and the office was christened the Mayhall Schneider Family House. Future plans include converting the garage into a classroom/training room for Salem area trainings and meetings. Fundraising projects for the conversion include the buy a brick program. Supporters may buy a brick engraved with their dedication that will be displayed on the property.

Congratulations to Oregon PTI Director Janice Richards and the entire organization on this exciting achievement!
